Worship Service, Adult Sunday School, and Kids Korner
During the 9:00 hour, infants through kindergarteners are welcome in our Kids Korner in the Fellowship Hall. Parents of elementary aged children are invited to approach an usher for simple activity pages for their children to use while remaining in the service. Adult Sunday School is offered through Soul Sisters and Adult Bible Class. A traditional worship service is offered in the Sanctuary.

Worship Service and Sunday School
During the 10:30 hour, Sunday School is offered for all children and youth. Children and youth attend the beginning of the worship service, and following the Children’s Moment, children go to their Sunday School rooms. Middle school Discipleship and Confirmation class meet in the Fellowship Hall after the Children's Moment. Senior high youth go to their Youth Room after Passing of the Peace.
On the first Sunday of the month, the 10:30 service is a more contemporary worship service. Join us at the time that best suits your worship style.

Music Sunday
Celebrate Lynnewood’s music program and hear all the Lynnewood choirs. The Joyful Noise and Chancel Choir will each sing, the Sonshine Choir will ring chimes, and the Handbell Choir will ring “Standing in the Need of Prayer.”

Pentecost Sunday / Confirmation Sunday
During worship, we
will celebrate Pentecost and we will also feel the power and presence of a
large group 8th graders who will be confirmed on that morning. The
Confirmation class will also have a special part in the leadership of the
10:30 service. Following the second service everyone is invited to attend a
reception in honor of the youth. Lunch will be served and we will gather to
celebrate, as recorded in the book of Acts "numbers that were added to the
church.”

Open Circle College and Young Adult Fellowship
This summer, beginning June 17th, graduated seniors, college students, and young adults are invited to the new Open Circle College and Young Adult Fellowship class during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. More information to come.

Building Beloved Community group
This group facilitates and fosters agape love in the church and in society. It meets the first Sunday of the month in the library. Click here for more information.

Staff Open Heart Kitchen Serving Line
Lynnewood has a standing volunteer opportunity at Open Heart Kitchen the 5th Wednesday of the month, when it is our turn to staff the serving line from 2:00pm to 6:30pm. If you are interested in helping, please sign up at the Outreach table in the courtyard after church. May 30, 2012, is the next 5th Wednesday.
