Special Opportunities

Each year our church identifies specific needs that we wish to address.  This year these opportunities included: 

Assisting Challenged Schools

Lynnewood has “adopted” two elementary schools.  One is in Livermore and the other is in Modesto.  The families are largely low income and the kids need extra academic support and enrichment. Our assistance has included: donating school supplies, new and used books, classroom supplies and clothing. Also, several members of our church volunteer in the classroom.

Inreach Hardship Fund

We have established an anonymous hardship fund for individuals and families of Lynnewood to support those affected by economic hardship. If you need financial assistance for food, medical, or utilities, please contact Pastor Heather or Pastor Diana. Your request and need will be completely confidential.

Serving Seniors and Infirmed

Members of our congregation reach out to assist individuals with errands, home chores and meals. We also sponsor an annual workday at Pleasanton Gardens, a residence for low income seniors.
