Lynnewood offers an exciting worship opportunity for children in kindergarten through 5^th grade.  Many parents have expressed an interest in seeing their elementary aged children provided with an age-appropriate, spiritually based activity during the early worship service (9:00 a.m. fall – spring and 9:30 a.m. during the summer months).

Families begin worship together in the sanctuary.  After the Children’s Moment (about 15 minutes into the service), your elementary aged children will go to Fellowship Hall and join us for a bible lesson, interactive activities, and crafts.  Children’s worship ends at the same time as the adult worship service. 

Coinciding with the school year, at the 10:30 a.m. worship hour, Lynnewood United Methodist Church offers traditional Sunday school classes.  The children are grouped by age in individual classrooms.  Age appropriate lessons are created and presented by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic adult teachers.  Weekly class programs include a bible lesson, stories, group discussion time, interactive activities and crafts.
